API reference for /api/v1/listing/images

Use the listing/images endpoint to update images for a listing. Listings are identified for update by matching identificationDetails.stockNumber.

Note

The stockNumber is looked up among vehicles on the specific dealership branch specified in the request. If no branch is specified, the primary branch on the authenticated account is used.

Note

Images must be a valid URL and accessible by the Auto Trader system. Images may not exceed 10 MB. The Auto Trader system will attempt to make a HEAD request to check image size before fetching.

Example Request (V2 - Asynchronous)

The V2 endpoint immediately returns a 202 Accepted with a transactionId that can be used to track the status.
